Melissa Beer is one of six people shortlisted for the British Dressage Young Professional Award finals that will take place at Talland, Gloucestershire, next Monday, 21 March.

Melissa, who now runs a livery and training business, Vale Wood Dressage, Barns Green, West Sussex, has competed for Britain internationally as a young rider from ponies, when she partnered The Importance of Being Ernest, up to the handsome leggy chestnut Celestial King. Melissa has also acquired valuable experience while working as a rider for another Sussex resident, and international competitor and trainer Sarah Millis.

The award final on Monday is a combination . . .
